New Year’s Eve revelers across the globe can watch the iconic Times Square Ball Drop live from New York City online for free– in addition to several other performances and live broadcasts ushering in 2024.

On traditional TV, Times Square will be a central locale as part of the slate of programming airing on ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN. That will include ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” (featuring live performances by LL Cool J, Megan Thee Stallion, Jelly Roll with Jessie Murph, Sabrina Carpenter and Tyla), CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen” (featuring performances by Enrique Iglesias, Maroon 5, Jonas Brothers, Flo Rida, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker and Rod Stewart); and Univision’s “¡Feliz 2023!” (featuring Maria Becerra and Yng Lvcas).

Aside from the Times Square Ball Drop, you can also ring in the New Year with CBS’s “Nashville’s Big Bash,” a five-hour special featuring performances by Morgan Wallen, Bailey Zimmerman, Kane Brown, Lainey Wilson, Thomas Rhett and dozens more country stars. The special airs in two two-and-a-half-hour blocks for a total of five hours — 7:30-10 p.m. ET/PT, followed after a half-hour break for locals news by a part two running from 10:30 p.m.-1:05 a.m. ET/PT. The show will also stream live and on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers (and on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers starting the following day).

The entirety of the six-hour Times Square 2024 livestream will be available for free on multiple websites, including TimesSquareNYC.org and TimesSquareBall.net, powered by Vimeo’s Livestream platform.It will start at 6 p.m. ET on Dec. 31, 2023, and end at 12:15 a.m. ET on Jan. 1, 2024.

The Times Square New Year’s Eve livestream will feature performances by Paul Anka and Flo Rida, and just after the midnight celebration at 12:04 am, a surprise video appearance and performance presented by Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The evening will kick off at 6 p.m. ET with the lighting and raising of the New Year’s Eve Ball at the top of One Times Square. Returning as the livestream’s host is actor and TV personality Jonathan Bennett (“Mean Girls,” Hallmark’s “The Holiday Sitter,” Food Network’s “Cake Wars”). Bennett will be joined by co-host Jeremy Hassell, who has been a part of the Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration since 2016.
